    Trainee commercial assistant (m/f) for office management

    In your training as a commercial assistant for office management, you will be taking on commercial tasks in the office management area and dealing with organisational responsibilities. In this context you will come into contact with various specialist divisions, like Finance and Accounting, HR and Administration. Your responsibilities will include the processing of invoices and orders, executing tasks in warehouse logistics, coordination of appointments, preparing for meetings and handling internal and external correspondence. Furthermore you will learn how to plan, organise and execute working processes. 

    Even before the start of your training you have the possibility of choosing two modules from a number of optional qualifications which correspond to your interests and abilities. So even during your training you can focus on any areas of special interest, with a better chance of obtaining additional qualifications. medac offers a wide range of choice, with the modules ‘Order control and coordination’, ‘Commercial direction and control’, ‘Purchasing and logistics’ and ‘Marketing and distribution’. The module ‘Secretarial work and working as an assistant’ is mandatory.  

    Your training will be based on the ‘dual system’, that is to say you will be learning on the job as well as attending a course at the vocational college in Pinneberg. In the academic part of the training you will acquire a theoretical knowledge of all the subjects and processes which you will then be able to use at our company on the practical level. 

    In view of our international orientation, you also will be taking English lessons at medac once a week.

    As well as a good Realschule school leaving qualification, you should have good English language skills, confident knowledge of spelling and grammar, a talent for organisation, an outgoing personality, customer and service focus, flexibility, team spirit and a basic knowledge of EDP.
