As an industrial commercial assistant, you will be supporting all business processes from a business management angle, and will be employed in departments with a commercial orientation – like Distribution and Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Procurement, Logistics, HR and Controlling. In this context you may find yourself supporting, planning and organising working processes or evaluating key statistics, or you may be given a small project of your own to handle.

Your training will be based on the ‘dual system’, that is to say you will be learning on the job as well as attending a course at the vocational college in Pinneberg. In the academic part of the training you will acquire a theoretical knowledge of all the subjects and processes which you will then be able to use at our company on the practical level.  

In view of our international orientation, you also will be taking English lessons at medac once a week.

Requirements
To train as an industrial commercial assistant, you should have an interest in business affairs and commercial activities, and enjoy meeting people. You will also be expected to show good EDP skills and a good knowledge of English. You must have an Abitur or Fachhochschulreife school leaving qualification, or else a good to excellent school leaving qualification from a Realschule.

Duration of training
3 years as a standard (shorter period an option)
