    Returning Batteries

Occasionally, batteries or rechargeable batteries can also be used in electrical devices. If these are removable, separate them before disposing of the electrical device. Check whether the batteries or accumulators can be reused to avoid waste. If not, dispose of them separately in retail outlets, at a recycling center or at a mobile hazardous waste collection facility. The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that the device batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste and must be returned separately.
